Car Shelter or Car Cover?

Lets look at some of the pros and cons of car covers against car shelters. In our mind the two offer completely different solutions, and with shelters there are some things you should be aware of before buying one.

Car Covers

a) Car covers are totally portable, they can be taken round with you in your car and used at almost any location.
b) Covers in the main can be washed and cleaned.
c) The Best covers are waterproof and breathable so will keep your car dry.

Car Shelters
============
a) Buy one and find it wont fit in your space and you will be hit with a "heavy" return shipping fee
b) You may need planning permission or have to remove it later if a neighbour complains
c) Condensation and damp can rise from the floor, condense on the inside of the shelter and drip on your car, creating a damp environment in which your car sits.
d) Shelters can be very expensive and if you change your car, it then becomes useless.

So in our conclusion, a good cover is a better solution than a shelter.

Coveryourbike - Deserves a new server

This year our venture into Motorcycle Covers has proved more successful than we could have ever imagined and our dedicated website Coveryourbike is being moved to a bigger and better server in the new year. Currently hosted with Fasthosts, it is limited in the back end payments side because of their "Limited" Mysql capability.



So, for the site to reach its full potential we are moving it to our Premium Service with another host in the new year, the same as Coveryourcar, so it will run faster and the final checkout stage will be easier and customers will have more ways to pay. We would have moved it sooner but wanted to wait until after Christmas to keep disruption to a minimum.
